The Uttarakhand State Legislature established MIND POWER UNIVERSITY as a full-fledged university, and it is included among the list of universities that the University Grants Commission maintains under Section 2(f), with the authority to award degrees in accordance with Section 22(3) of the UGC Act, 1956. MPU has received permissions and recognition from Statutory Bodies wherever they are necessary or required.
